A Boy and His Vacuum

Asa is currently obsessed with the vacuum. I probably vacuum at least twice a day to keep this boy happy and entertained.
You'll never have to wonder if our carpets are clean if you come over for a visit!
Good thing vacuuming is one of my favorite chores.

Asa holds the cord while I vacuum. He knows where all the outlets are and brings the cord to me to plug it in. He does a little swaying movement as he watches me vacuum.
Asa buzzes his lips and points to the storage closet if the vacuum is not out. Even if he's not playing with it, he likes the vacuum to be out where he can see it at all times.

I hope Asa's enthusiasm for vacuuming is still there when he's old enough to take over the chore himself!

Mommy has her vacuum and now Asa has a vacuum. Asa's vacuum has a little button you push to turn on the vacuum's light and "realistic sounds." Asa does enjoy playing with his toy Dirt Devil, but he still prefers Mommy's.
Asa loves Nana's vacuum too. The first thing he does when we visit Nana is find her vacuum. She no longer vacuums her floors because Asa and I vacuum for her whenever we're there.
I love this funny boy of ours!

A few more things I want to remember about Asa at 14 months...
Asa is also obsessed with kitty cats and puppies. He has a stuffed cat and a dog and he cuddles and gives them kisses often.
He crosses his ankles while sitting.
When he is excited, Asa thumps one leg.
He has mastered rolling his arms to the song "The Wheels on the Bus."
Asa can meow like a cat and bray like a horse.
He does not like cow's milk. He drinks Almond Breeze instead.
Asa loves talking to the "baby" in the mirror.
He refers to both Daddy and Mommy as "Da-Da."
Asa's signature dance move is a steady bounce to the music.
Along with the vacuums, kitties, and puppies, Asa loves anything and everything with wheels.
Asa blows kisses when saying goodbye!
