Today after church we decided to wander around outside for awhile because the weather is perfection. Fall is definitely on its way and we couldn't be more thrilled. Asa could spend the entire day every day outside and now that is is cooling down I just think we might!
A stray neighborhood cat had kittens and we have adopted them. Asa asks to feed the kitty cats every morning (and about a hundred other times throughout the day, too). He finds the "secret key" to Nana and Papa's garage, helps me unlock the door, scoop up the food, and carry it down to the garden shed where the kitties live.
When we first started feeding the kittens they were quite scared of us. So after pouring their food into the bowl I would scatter some pieces around to coax them over. Now Asa thinks that throwing the food all around is what you're suppose to do.
We pour the food in and he immediately takes it all out.
Zig, Sy, and Tate are warming up to us and don't mind if Asa sits by them while they eat.
Asa does a pretty good job being gentle, but sometimes their tails get the best of him and he tries to pull them a little.
In other news, Asa has figured out how to turn the water on to the garden hose...
And how to spray all by himself.
We have to watch our backs around him these days!
The great outdoors is truly Asa's happy place!
